Está abierta la convocatoria para que profesionales de los medios de comunicación participen en la segunda versión del Premio Investiga, organizado por la Deutsche Welle Akademie de Alemania y la Universidad del Norte, que busca incentivar el nuevo periodismo digital en Colombia y premiar las historias contadas a través de textos, fotografías, videos, piezas sonoras e infografías que combinen inteligentemente el uso de blogs y redes sociales.
Pueden participar los periodistas -empleados o freelancers- que hayan publicado trabajos en una página web, blog o red social entre mayo de 2012 y marzo de 2013. Los trabajos tienen que enviarse por correo electrónico antes del 7 de marzo de 2013.Las bases completas del concurso se pueden consultar en www.premioinvestiga.com.
La segunda edición del premio se realiza porque hoy en día, en la formación educativa, no se presta mucha atención a las nuevas posibilidades que ofrece Internet y, en el campo profesional, a menudo se considera que el hecho de publicar un trabajo en un medio tradicional (periódico, radio o televisión) y subirlo a Internet lo convierte en un producto multimedia, aunque esto no sea cierto, explica Ramón Garcia-Ziemsen, profesor del programa de Comunicación Social y Periodismo de Uninorte y periodista de la Deutsche Welle.
El ganador del primer puesto recibirá un viaje a Alemania, con una visita a la DW Akademie en Bonn y Berlín y la asistencia a la conferencia internacional Global Media Forum, del 17 al 19 de junio de 2013. El segundo puesto recibirá un computador portátil y el tercer lugar una cámara digital.
